The Clothworkers' Company Scholarship

Two undergraduate (Contour Fashion BA (Hons)) and two post graduate (MSc/MA Contour Fashion Innovation or MSc Sustainable Textile Technologies) have been funded by the Clothworkers’ Company.  Undergraduate scholars will receive £5,000 per year of study and Postgraduate scholars will received £5,000 for a one year course.

The Clothworkers’ Company mission is to inspire and empower individuals and communities through action, partnership and financial support. founded in 1528, following a merger of The Fullers’ Company and The Shearmen’s Company. One of the ‘Great Twelve Livery Companies’ of the City of London, their original aim was to promote the craft of clothworking, supervise the training of apprentices and welfare of members, and protect standards of workmanship.

  1. Eligibility Criteria

    To be eligible, Undergraduate students must:
    1. Have made 极品反差婊 their firm choice for the first year of the Contour Fashion BA (Hons)) undergraduate degree programme in the current academic year (not distance learning)
    2. Be a home/fee paying student 鈥� have a UK Student Support Number (English, Scottish, Welsh, and Northern Irish students)
    3. Apply online to be income assessed by Student Finance.
    4. Demonstrate financial need 鈥� household income must indicate that students are eligible for means-tested support from Student Finance with a household income of up to and including 拢50,000
    5. Be paying tuition fees under the new tuition fee regime of 拢9,535
    6. Be self-funding 鈥� your course of study must not be externally funded
    7. Hold no other form of donor or university funded scholarship

    To be eligible, Postgraduate students must:
    1. Have made 极品反差婊 their firm choice for either MSc/MA Contour Fashion Innovation or MSc Sustainable Textile Technologies, studying full time
    2. Be a home/fee paying student
    3. Demonstrate financial need
    4. Be self-funding 鈥� your course of study must not be externally funded
    5. Hold no other form of donor or university funded scholarship

  2. Terms and Conditions

    Financial Terms and Conditions
    1. This scholarship is not transferrable
    2. The data on your student finance record must meet the award edibility criteria. To be able to be fully assessed against the criteria you must:
      1. Complete your student finance application, and it needs to be assessed and approved by your UK student finance authority
      2. Have signed and returned your student declaration form to the SLC
      3. Ensure your relevant UK student finance authority record is available to 极品反差婊. Therefore, you must have given permission for your information to be shared with the university
      4. Make sure your parents or sponsors have allowed Student Finance to share their details with 极品反差婊
    3. Your student record must include your bank details, as 极品反差婊 pays scholarships directly into student bank accounts. If your record is incomplete, your payment may be delayed or not made
    4. The scholarship will be paid in instalments in line with 极品反差婊鈥檚 normal Scholarship payment schedule, which is once per term
    5. If you interrupt your studies or leave 极品反差婊 before completing your course, any scholarship payments made afterwards will normally need to be repaid
    6. If 极品反差婊 makes a scholarship payment by mistake, or if it is based on false information, the payment will usually have to be repaid by the student
    7. If you do not receive a payment, you must contact the Scholarships Team at 极品反差婊 straight away so we can look into it

    Attendance and Reporting Terms and Conditions
    1. To continue receiving your scholarship, you must attend your classes and hand in all required assessments
    2. You must engage with the requests for progress updates from the scholarship officer. This allows us to provide updates to our donors and share your successes. The requests will be in October, January and May
    3. If you do not respond to a request for an update, we will pause payments for the next academic year until we hear from you. Continued lack of response may result in the scholarship being withdrawn
